چکیده
This paper deals with the theoretical foundation of phenomenological effective two-body forces for beyond mean-field calculations such as the Generator Coordinate Method (GCM) or the projected mean-field method. Extending the Brueckner-Goldstone perturbation theory [34], a generalized G matrix removing the hard core problem by summing two-body correlations in the context of mixed non-orthogonal Slater-determinants has been derived. The aim of this paper is to reduce the in-medium content of this effective interaction into various local densities dependences. Thus an extension of the Skyrme force dedicated to the calculation of matrix elements between non-orthogonal product states is proposed. As an application, the derived density-dependence of the Skyrme force is shown to be well-defined for symmetry restoration.

In the present work, we re-analyze the density-dependence of phenomenological two-body forces for calculations beyond the mean field approximation. The resum-mation of two-body correlations has been addressed in the first part of this work. We treat here the renormalization of possibly existing multi-body forces within the framework of the Generator Coordinate Method (GCM) and the projected mea...

Abstract We discuss the relation between the effective vector meson mass and equation of state (EOS) for nuclear matter. In the mean field approximation, the EOS becomes softer due to the reduction of the effective ω-meson mass, if we assume that the ω-meson mean field is proportional to the baryon density. We examine the assumption by using the auxiliary field method at finite temperature and ...

It is shown that the vacuum of QED 2 in Minkowski spacetime does not favour a periodic electric mean field. The projected effective action exhibiting a genuine dependence on the non-vanishing background field has been introduced. The functional dependence of the energy density of the vacuum on the assumed periodic vacuum expectation value of the vector potential is determined from the component...

A method is presented for numerical implementation of the extended TDHF theory in which two-body correlations beyond the mean-field approximation are incorporated in the form of a quantal collision term. The method is tested in a model problem in which the exact solution can be obtained numerically. Whereas the usual TDHF fails to reproduce the long time evolution, a very good agreement is foun...

Based on the formalism of thermo-field dynamics a new approach for studying collective excitations in hot finite Fermi systems is presented. Two approximations going beyond the thermal RPA namely renormalized thermal RPA and thermal second RPA are formulated.
